Creamy Fruit Smoothie (Print this)
Dry milk adds texture and protein without fat or a lot of calories. Try this easy concoction with your favorite fruit: strawberries, blackberries, bananas, kiwi, peaches or cherries, for example. A healthy alternative to the traditional milkshake. Preparation Time - 5 minutes
* 3 cups fruit, fresh, frozen, unsweetened or canned (drained)
* 1 1/3 cups (3.2-ounce envelope) CARNATION Instant Nonfat Dry Milk
* 1/2 cup water
* 1/2 cup ice cubes
* 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, (optional)
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
PLACE all ingredients in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
NOTE: For a tropical taste sensation, follow directions using a mixture of mango, papaya and pineapple to make up 3 cups fruit.
